These MatTek PermaCell Hang Top 24-Well Plates consist of a 24-well plate with a specialized lid for air-lifting of CCI24 PermaCell cell culture inserts in a MatTek 24-well plate. The CCI24-HANGTOP plate comes with a standard lid, the specialized lid with 14 mm holes that accept the PermaCell CCI24 cell culture inserts, and a 24-well plate bottom. Airlifting with the CCI24-HANGTOP plate allows culturing with 2.5 mL of medium underneath the inserts. Plates are sterilized using gamma.
